Account & Data Deletion
This page explains how a DigiShift user can request deletion of their account and associated personal information. DigiShift business accounts are usually provisioned through an organisation, so some operational records may also be controlled by that organisation.
Email mark@smarkz.com with the subject “DigiShift account and data deletion request”.
Include the DigiShift email address and organisation name. Do not send your password, authentication code or private keys.
We may ask for reasonable information to verify your identity and authority before deleting information or changing an organisation-controlled record.
We will delete or de-identify personal information that is no longer required, subject to applicable legal, contractual, security, audit and organisation record-retention obligations. We will explain if particular information must be retained.
What may be deleted
- DigiShift user identity/profile information where deletion is permitted;
- product access records that no longer need to be retained;
- personal support/contact information that is no longer required; and
- other personal information for which DigiShift is the responsible controller and no retention basis applies.
Organisation-controlled operational records
Form submissions, approvals, audit events, invoices or other business records may belong to an organisation that has legal, safety, employment, contractual or operational reasons to retain them. Where deletion is not appropriate, access may be removed and personal information may be de-identified or restricted where reasonably practicable.
